No police reports were available in Overland Park, Kansas where the incident is said to have occurred.
Player's Recent Off-Field Troubles
The receiver was absent for the first six games of this NFL campaign due to an league-mandated ban for his involvement in instigating a crash on a Dallas highway that left multiple people hurt. He was given 30 days in jail and probationary supervision after entering a guilty plea to felony charges.
On the field, he finished the year with 53 catches for 571 yards and five TDs as the Chiefs went with a losing record and failed to qualify for the postseason for the first occasion in a decade.
